Winds and dry conditions will increase fire danger today

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Winds will increase this afternoon and evening with 30 mph or stronger gusts possible. Due to ongoing dry conditions, fires may spread quickly and become out of control.
30 mph wind gusts, very low humidity, and abnormally dry conditions fires may spread rapidly this afternoon and evening.
The threat is greatest in rural areas especially during any ongoing harvests in rural areas.
Outdoor burning is not recommended at all today.
