FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Saint Francis has found the new leader of its women’s basketball program, and it’s a familiar face from the university.

Men’s basketball assistant coach Jeremy Henney will step into the women’s head coaching role, following the departure of Jason Ridge in late August.

Henney joined coach Chad LaCross’s staff in 2015. Prior to that, he spent three years on the men’s staff at Huntington University.

Henney had previously worked with the men’s basketball program at Davidson College, and has attended undergrad at Indiana University.
