Webb, Landis come away with individual wins at Bellmont Invitational

DECATUR, Ind. (WPTA) - Bellmont runner Ian Webb beat his teammate, Elijah Obringer, by 0.5 seconds on Wednesday night, to claim the boys individual victory at the Bellmont Invitational.

Webb finished in 17:09.7 seconds, with Obringer clocking in at 17:10.2.

Bellmont took the team title on the boys side, with Bluffton and Bishop Luers finishing second and third.

Gabi Landis posted a big win for Adams Central in the girls race, finishing in 20:19.7, nearly 41 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Isabelle Shenfeld of Leo.

Leo took the team title, with Adams Central second, and South Side third.
