The arithmetic of back-to-school

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Parents are learning just how expensive school shopping can be with inflation pushing up prices on everything from paper to laptops. The Morning Consult asked parents how much they plan to spend on back-to-school shopping. About a quarter of those parents planned to spend more than $500.
ABC21′s Tom Powell spoke with retail and e-commerce analyst Claire Tassin about the big spending.
