TinCaps earn series split with Cubs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A five-run sixth inning propelled the TinCaps to a 7-5 win over the Cubs on Sunday. Fort Wayne is now 2-0-3 in their last five series.
The ‘Caps received a solid outing from Jose Espada, who gave up just one run in five innings of work.
Augustin Ruiz’s three-run double in the sixth inning capped off the five-run frame.
The TinCaps get set to head to Great Lakes for a six-game series, which begins on Tuesday evening.
