More showers and thunderstorms likely tonight

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - After morning showers and thunderstorms, there will be a period of clearing during the late morning through early afternoon. Temperatures should top out in the upper 80s but feel like the 90s.

This evening through tonight brings the next chance of thunderstorms. A few storms may produce strong gusty winds and heavy rain although severe weather is not likely.

Rain should end from northwest to southeast early Tuesday. Tuesday after starting near 70 will only get to near 80 degrees as cooler and drier conditions prevail.

More cooler temperatures are likely throughout much of the week ahead. We’ll talk about what the coolest day will be coming up at 12 and 5PM on ABC21.
