Mastodons get ready for trip to Portugal and Spain

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Purdue Fort Wayne men’s basketball team will travel to Portugal and Spain next week, as part of a study abroad program.

During the trip, the Mastodons will play three games, against Portugal Elite, Mataro Select, and Barcelona Select.

The NCAA allows teams to take a foreign tour once every four years. Purdue Fort Wayne players traveled to Italy back in 2018.

ON HIS WAY TO FINLAND: Former Mastodon Jalon Pipkins will also travel to Europe soon. Pipkins has signed a deal to start his career with the Vilpas Vikings in Finland.
