Cummings homers, but TinCaps can’t do much else in 3-1 loss to South Bend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - TinCaps first baseman Cole Cummings launched a solo homer in the second inning, providing Fort Wayne’s only run in a 3-1 loss to the South Bend Cubs.
South Bend would take the lead on a pair of RBI ground outs in the second inning. Chicago Cubs prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong added some insurance with a RBI single in the sixth.
The Cubs and TinCaps continue their series on Friday night at 7:05pm.
