Hot and humid today with thunderstorms possible tonight and tomorrow

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Today should be partly cloudy during the afternoon and evening as temperatures climb above 90. It will feel closer to 100 due to the humidity causing dangerously hot conditions.

A line of weakening showers and thunderstorms moves into the area late this evening through overnight. A few stronger storms are possible but heavy rain is the most likely impact.

Showers and a few storms linger tomorrow. Tomorrow turns substantially cooler, topping out in the lower 80s.

A stray shower can’t be ruled out Friday otherwise the weekend turns warmer. We’ll have the hot weekend and the next chance of rain coming up at 12 and 5PM on ABC21.
