Fort Wayne: Residents should call 311 for July 5 storm debris collection

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fort Wayne residents are advised to call 311 to have tree debris collected from the July 5 storm, the City of Fort Wayne said Monday.
After residents submit their address to 311, the City will have contracted crews collect the tree debris as soon as they can the City said. Residents will have until Friday, July 15 to call 311 for collection. Tree debris should be set at the curb, the City says. It may take several weeks for crews to collect all of the debris.

Residents can also drop off tree debris at the two drop-off sites, at the Biosolids Facility, 6202 Lake Avenue, with the fees being waived at the facility, and at the Republic Services landfill, 6231 MacBeth Road.
City crews are still collecting debris from the July 27 storm in the Waynedale and Aboite areas.
