Hassell earns spot in MLB All-Star Futures Game

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - TinCaps outfielder Robert Hassell III will leave Fort wayne and head to Los Angeles later this month.
Hassell will represent the San Diego organization in the MLB All-Star Futures Game at Dodger Stadium on July 16th.
Hassell is the first active TinCaps player to participate in the showcase.
MLB.com currently ranks Hassell as the top player in the San Diego system, and the 25th overall prospect in all of baseball.
This season, Hassell is hitting .303 with a .375 on base percentage. He’s hit eight home runs, with 43 RBI and 19 stolen bases.
