FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The man who was tragically killed after being burned by fireworks Sunday evening has left behind a family of five, a representative of the family says.
The representative says 43-year-old Noe Diaz was killed in the fireworks incident on July 3. They described it as a “freak accident”, saying the firework went off early and hit him under the chin. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
They say Diaz is survived by his wife and four children, describing him as a great father and husband. He was also active in the local sports community as they say he played on many area soccer teams.
“Noe was a hard worker and always did so to provide for his family and make sure everything was taken care of,” a GoFundMe to help cover Diaz’s funeral expenses reads. You can donate to the fund here.
