Fort Wayne to open cooling stations Tuesday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The City of Fort Wayne will open a cooling station Tuesday in the lobby of the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S. Calhoun Street, in anticipation of heat and humidity.
The cooling station will be open to anyone from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the City of Fort Wayne said.
Two other cooling stations are also available for anyone that needs it. The Salvation Army, 2901 N. Clinton Street, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Rescue Mission, 404 E. Washington Boulevard is open daily to the public from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
