Former TRAA paramedic opens up about low pay and lower morale
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - As the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority struggles with low staffing, slow response times and heaps of criticism, leaders are on the cusp of firing the prime contractor that staffs ambulances and handles daily operations. But one former paramedic says TRAA will have to do more to improve working conditions.
On Thursday’s edition of the News at 7, Tom Powell looked into EMT and paramedic pay in Fort Wayne, while asking a former paramedic how he would treat the troubled TRAA.
