Some rain possible Friday
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Friday will be another hot day across Northern Indiana and Ohio with highs rising to the low 90s once again before a cold front advances south and east by the early evening. This leads me to typing out something I haven’t had the pleasure of writing in several weeks: Some isolated downpours and thunderstorms are possible!
The key word, though, is “isolated”.
Though the entire area would benefit from a 1-2″ soaker, the reality is rain chances tomorrow will be quite scattered along the front between 7 and 11 pm. What pockets of rain that do form, however, could drop a quick half an inch or so. Given how dry it’s been, though, there will likely be little evidence of rain by Saturday afternoon.
More scattered showers and storms are possible midweek next week.
