FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Tree Rivers Ambulance Authority is closer to taking over daily operations from its prime contractor after years of slow response times and inadequate staffing levels.
TRAA, a quasi-governmental organization, contracts with a for-profit company called Paramedics Logistics Indiana. But TRAA has accused the company of breaching its contract by not performing to standards when seconds count.
