Smoke spreads over downtown Fort Wayne from early morning fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Smoke clouded downtown Fort Wayne early Monday as fire crews battled an apartment fire.
The building is located near downtown in the 1400 blk. of Cass St. Crews tell us they got there around 5:30 a.m. As of 6:30, the crews were still on the scene.

We’re told the building has at least four different units. So far, no one is missing or injured.
Crews are investigating.
