FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - It’s been 12 days since we’ve seen rainfall, of any significance at least. However, there looks to be a little bit of rain on the way!
On Saturday, we’ll see a bit more cloud cover roll in as we head towards the evening hours. Temperatures will be warm, once again, maxing out in the upper 80s, low 90s.
One or two very isolated rain showers are possible on Saturday evening, but it’ll be so hit and miss that you shouldn’t be too concerned about outdoor plans.
Overnight into Sunday morning, a cold front will start to work its way through our area. Ahead of the cold front, some isolated rain showers will pop-up with maybe a few rumbles of thunder. Temperatures on Sunday morning will be around 70.
Some isolated rain showers will linger into the late morning, early afternoon, but once the cold front moves through, skies will clear out. Expect highs in the mid 80s.
For the start of the work week, we’ll see plenty of sunshine. Temperatures in the afternoon will be in the upper 70s on Monday and slowly work their way back up into the low 90s by the end of the week.
