Fort Wayne police searching for missing teen

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Police are searching for a missing teen, after finding another missing girl who was part of the same alert.

An alert was sent to mobile devices late Thursday. It advised that authorities were looking for 15-year-old Gabrielle Lydick. She is described as being 5′4″ with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. Authorities did not say where she was last seen.

A second girl was listed as missing in the same alert, but has since been found. Police characterized the missing girls as “endangered.” The alerts did not rise to the level of an Amber Alert. Those are reserved for cases in which a specific person is known to have taken a child. As of 10:00 p.m. Thursday, police had not issued such an alert.
