Allen County Coroner seeks public’s help in identifying man found near St. Marys river

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Allen County Coroner’s office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man that was found along the St. Marys River, in the 4400 block of Bluffton Road on April 3.
The coroner’s office believes the man was taken to the location after he died somewhere else and they also believe the man had been deceased for some time. The coroner says the man does not fit the description of any missing persons from Allen County.
The man is described as a male Asian, Hispanic, or American Indian, small in stature, with short hair. He has two black-inked tattoos, one on his upper left arm, of a rose or flower with leaves, and the other on the lower left arm, of a sideways heart with the words Joy or Love.
The man was wearing a white ‘Jockey’ crewneck t-shirt with the words FILA, size-8 black gym shoes, and XL blue shorts with the Carroll Football logo.
Investigators also found a blue and black colored mesh backpack, with the words ‘Shawnee Mission Medical Center 50th, 1962-2012′ and a purple bandana near the man.
