Two found dead after barricade on Cheviot Drive

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) -Fort Wayne police are investigating after two people were found dead early Thursday morning on the southeast side of Fort Wayne.
Officers say they saw a person with a weapon through an apartment window in the 3300 block of Cheviot Drive. They say the person refused to come out. After nearly three hours, police entered and found two people dead.
Police have not identified either of the people involved. This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
