Girls Basketball Player of the Year: Homestead’s Ayanna Patterson

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The ABC21 Girls Basketball Player of the Year is Homestead senior forward Ayanna Patterson.
Patterson has already received a number of postseason accolades, including Indiana Miss Basketball.
She capped off her high school career averaging 25.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks for the Spartans. Homestead went 23-2, and Patterson won a fourth-straight sectional championship.
The UConn signee also won the ABC21 Player of the Year Award last school year.
