FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Leaders with Northwest Allen County Schools say a staff shortage problem is growing worse because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that’s why they’re holding a job fair Saturday.
The job fair will run from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, January 8 at Carroll Middle School.
Right now, NACS leaders say they have the greatest need for bus drivers and for food service workers. They say that out of the district’s 12 schools, 6 of them are short staffed in those areas. But, substitute teachers, full-time teachers and custodial workers are also needed.
