Ohio crash claims life of Decatur woman and one other

AMANDA TOWNSHIP, Ohio. (WPTA21) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lima Post officers are investigating a double fatal crash Sunday morning.
Officers say it happened just before 7 a.m. near Mills Road outside of Lima, Ohio.
Police say there was one vehicle traveling eastbound on State Route 117 and another traveling westbound. The eastbound driver traveled left of center and struck the other driver head on.
Police say both drivers died by their injuries and one passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
One of the drivers who died was a women out of Decatur, Indiana. The other was a woman out of Spencerville, Ohio.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Spencerville Fire, Spencerville EMS, the Allen County Coroner’s Office of Ohio.
