FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Colder air has moved in following some warmer weather this week. The weekend sees a return to higher temperatures, but rain arrives by Sunday.

Tonight remains chilly, but winds will be calmer, helping it not feel quite as cold. Lows will be in the upper 20s to low 30s. Clouds move in this evening and build through the overnight hours.

The cloud cover sticks around for most of Saturday. A stray shower or two is possible through the day, but I expect mostly dry conditions. Highs rise to the mid 40s,.

Rain moves in by Sunday morning. Expect fairly widespread rain, with more scattered showers possible Sunday afternoon. Temperatures enter the upper 40s. By late Sunday afternoon and into Sunday evening, we’ll start to see some clearing skies.

Behind the rain, bitterly cold air moves in Monday, taking highs to the low 30s. A few lake effect snow showers are also possible Monday. Temperatures moderate through the week, returning closer to average. Conditions look fairly quiet for most of the week, with a few showers possible by Thanksgiving.
